DTO was meant to be a coarse-grained data container which efficiently transports data between processes (tiers). Martin Fowler also defines DTO as: 'An object that carries data between processes in order to reduce the number of method calls.'
According to the definitions DTOs were never meant to carry data within a JVM. In J2EE DTO was absolutely necessary, CMP were not serializable.

Microsoft Word is a powerful word processing program that helps business owners create documents of various type. You can create letters and newsletters, insert photos and create drawings. Microsoft has many templates available, which makes the life of a business just a little easier. If you are setting up some new marketing programs and want to create a three-page pamphlet, also called a trifold pamphlet, Microsoft Word 2016 through the Windows 10 operating systems make it easy.
Use Word to Create a Tri-Fold Brochure. No matter what version of Word you are using, it’s easy to create a simple tri-fold brochure using just your word processor. Newer versions of Word, such as Word 2000, let you link text boxes like you can in a desktop publishing program, but for a simple brochure, all that frustrating clicking. Tri-fold program papers come complete with a fully formatted, downloadable Word template. Just change the sample wording to your own wording, and print. Really, that's all there is to it! Using Templates in Word
Open Microsoft Word. A pop-up box will open that enables you to start a new project, to open a recent project or to search through templates. You want to choose 'New' from Template. In Templates, you will see many types of business templates such as schedules, business plans and menus. Choose brochures. Expedite your search by typing 'brochure' or 'trifold brochure' in the search box. There may be more than one template choice with a different theme or color scheme. Choose the theme that best fits your needs to make editing easier. Open the file to see the MS Word 16 layout.

When the template opens, you will see the various boxes with sample text and images. These text boxes and images are all editable. If you like the layout, fonts and colors, all you need to do is click on the text box and highlight the text to type in your own custom content. Replace images by right-clicking on the picture and select Change Picture in the drop-down menu. Follow the prompts to locate your company images such as logos and photos. Select the one you want for that section.
If the image inserts larger than the original template, resize it by clicking on the image corner, holding it while pulling the image to resize it in proportion. Repeat for all content sections and images. Save the file with the name you want.
Pamphlets in Word from Scratch
Creating a trifold pamphlet without a template may require a bit more work but does give you the ability to customize it completely. Once you have a final version, you can use this as a template for future versions and updated pamphlets.
Open Word and start a new Blank Document. This defaults to a standard letter. Format the document before you add anything. Select Page Layout in the top menu bar. Select Custom Margins and the layout options will appear. Choose the Landscape layout. Change all margins to .1 from 1. This allows printing across the whole paper which you will need. Select OK and then move to the Columns tab under the same Page Layout menu option. For a trifold brochure, you want three columns which means you will add two column breaks. Your pamphlet is formatted, and you may begin filling in content.
You can either type the text directly in or you can Insert text boxes via the insert tab. If you were to type through to the end of any column without a text box, the text would go to the next column. A text box helps align everything cleanly. Use Insert Text Box and Insert Image as needed based on your imagined design. You can delete or move these boxes using the Edit tab.
